What changes in each format?
| Format | Main rule question | Where to learn |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | Which sequence and tie convention applies? | Basic rules |
| Muflis | How are categories and within-category ranks reversed? | Muflis examples |
| Joker | Which physical cards are wild, and what may they represent? | Joker examples |
| AK47 | Are aces, kings, fours and sevens wild under this table’s rule? | AK47 examples |
The labels above describe teaching conventions, download features in a particular app. The supplied brief lists game modes, but no live lobby or APK has been examined.
Write a variation rule card
- Deck: jokers included or excluded?
- Wild cards: which ranks or physical cards qualify?
- Hand order: which categories or ranks change?
- Ace treatment: where do A–2–3 and A–K–Q fall?
- Equal hands: how are ties handled?
- Substitutions: may a wild card represent a card already visible?
These questions are more useful than a banner saying “all variants supported”. Two tables using the same label can still differ on a detail that decides a comparison.
A no-money teaching exercise
Write 7♠ 7♥ Q♦ on a sheet. In classic play it is a pair. Now announce that the queen is wild and ask learners for the best permitted substitution under the written joker convention. If a third seven is permitted, a trail becomes possible. The original physical hand did not change; the interpretation rule did.
Next remove the wild rule and discuss Muflis separately. Do not combine low-hand reversal and joker substitutions unless the rule card explicitly covers their interaction.
What the website tool supports
Our comparator evaluates classic trail, pure sequence, sequence, colour, pair and high card, with two selectable ace-sequence conventions. It does not evaluate Muflis, wild-card substitutions or app-specific show eligibility. Use the separate worked examples for those topics.
All learning here uses no financial stake, prize or redeemable counter. If a service introduces deposits or cash outcomes, its activity and legal category must be assessed separately.
